Infant car seat or convertible Car seat?

We are having twins and would like to purchase a convertible car seat to save money now.. However there ARE a lot of benefits to have a infant car seat! Which would you prefer and why?

I know you would like to save money but an infant car seat is better for a smaller baby – and having twins you have a good chance of that. I found my infant car seat also easier to carry in and out of the house or store.

Its hard to say. With having twins it may be easier to have the infant car seats it makes it easier for you to transport them. Especially in this cold weather we have here (not sure the weather where you are). But the convertible car seats are more cost effective. If you are a mom that will be taking the babes to the doc by your self or grocery shopping then i would have to go with the carriers. But if you have help then i would save money where you can and get convertible ones. Im not sure about where you are but local Sheriffs offices and WIC programs ofter have discounted NEW car seats that way you save no matter which you choose! Good luck and I hope this helps

I Always Liked Having the infant Car seats,Due to the fact that their Alot easier,even though you have to carry them.Convertible are also nice For the Price you Buy One and that will last until there in a Seat belt. I Didn’t Like the idea of having to take them out carry them into the store etc,especially When they get older about 6-9months,There Sleeping and dont want to sit in the Grocery Cart.

I think infant car seats are a must especially with twins… You will never get out of the house without these!
It makes getting babies in and out of the car easier. They often fall asleep in car seats… so it’s nice to take that few minutes extra for yourself. You can bundle them up in blankets instead of having to fully dress them up in snowsuits or warm jackets. They just makes things so much easier.
Infant car seats are definetly worth it
